Our Ministry-approved Beginner Driver Education program includes 20 hours of classroom or online instruction, 10 hours of in-car training and 10 hours of Homelinks. Students who successfully complete the program may qualify for certification and applicable insurance benefits. Our instructors focus on helping students build safe, confident and responsible driving skills.
In-car lesson availability includes morning, afternoon and evening appointments. Scheduling depends on instructor availability, so we recommend booking lessons in advance.
Students who successfully complete a Ministry-approved Beginner Driver Education program are eligible for insurance benefits. Savings vary by insurance provider, so we recommend confirming eligibility and discounts directly with your insurer.
You may pre-register over the phone with the first installment of $200 using any major credit card or by sending an Email Money Transfer.

Students who do not wish to complete the program will not receive a certificate. You may take your road test at any drive test. Refunds will not be issued.
Missed in-car lessons without a 24 hour notice will result in a fee. Road test changes or cancellations are subject to a $30 admin charge. If you miss your road test and do not notify our office this will result in forfeiting the fees paid. We allow two road test changes per file.
Both programs include Ministry-approved driver education and in-car training. The Enhanced Beginner Driver Education program also includes use of an instructor vehicle for the day of your road test. View the course details or contact us if you need help deciding which option is right for you.
Good Drivers has served students since 1981 with a focus on professional instruction, defensive-driving skills and student safety.
Road test packages may include use of a Good Drivers vehicle. Common local test locations include Mississauga, Brampton and Etobicoke. Additional fees may apply for other locations. Contact us before registering if you need a specific test location.
